Todd,

Way to go! Gorgeous guitar. More detail! BTW That definitely deserves a great case! What are planning next?

Bring it to Harrisburg if you got room for it when you deliver the case, if you got room (on the plane, I assume)

how bout a close up of the rosette Todd?
To bad you can't keep the shadows on there, they look realy cool in the picture.

Well done.

I really like that guitar. It has such a pleasing vintage look. Did you say what kind of top it has. If so I missed it. What kind of top does it have?

Beautiful Mahogany Guitar Todd...!!

I love those all Mahogany models.
You did a really nice job on this one. Congratulations!!
Now start playing the heck out of it.
I believe, that in a short time the finish will gas out and with playing it, she will brighten up nicely.

Now what's #2??
Or have you started it.

Thanks for the nice pictures.

Walter

That's a great looking guitar, well done. I finished my first a few months ago, so I know exactly how you feel.

Now of course, I'm going to have to build one with a mahogany top

That's beautiful! Also nice to see such a well carved neck and heel, they look just "right". Did you stain the mahogany?

Very nice Todd! I especially like the color of that mahogany, did you treat it in any way or stain it? Mine always seems to look kinda washed out.

Also, did you follow a set of plans? If so, which one?

Great job!

All mahogany! Well I guess you know that you've got my vote. I've only done one all mahogany, a little parlour guitar and it took some time to open up, so give it time. Excellent execution especially for a first. Is it my imagination or are #1 guitars starting to look better than they are entitled to?

Interesting choice though a mahogany top for your first guitar, any particular reason?

By the way, if you want it to sound louder without a pick the answer is at your local shopping mall, take you manly courage in your hands and go to the nail bar and get acrylics fitted to your picking fingers, wouldn't be without them!

Great guitar, on to number 2.

Colin

Todd, I took a lesson from what John M. said and now hide my first in a CLOSET! But yours is beautiful! Well done . Reminds me of the first real acoustic I ever owned...an all mahogany Takamine back in 81 or so when no one knew what a Takamine was!
